The Vancouver Sun reported on Tuesday that the Filipino community in Metro Vancouver had started pooling funds for the typhoon victims.

The report quoted businessman Carmelita Tapia, former president of the Canada-Asean Trade Council, as saying that instead of forming an organization for the fundraising, the community would contribute through churches. More Pinoys in Canada pool funds for ‘Frank’ victims
