Michael Coroza
 
Poet, essayist, translator, editor, and educator. Coroza's "Mga Lagot na Liwanag" (Severed Lights) published in 2002, was a finalist in the 2003 NBAP of the Manila Critics Circle, and was awarded by the Loyola Schools of the Ateneo De Manila University for the Best Publication Award in 2003.
On December 2007, Michael Coroza was the recipient of the Southeast Asia Write Award given out for regional writers by the Kingdom of Thailand.
